It’s that time of year again - FAMILY REUNION!!:) This year’s reunion
will be held at the home of Andrea and Dave Martin - 23916 Lanet Road NE - Blackduck, Minnesota 56630. So pack your fishing
gear and gallons of bug repellent and get ready to be close to nature in the north woods!
Camping
with electricity hook-ups will be available for those of you daring enough to do so. Otherwise, there are more humane abodes
to accommodate your needs. You can reserve rooms at the AmericInn at (218)835-4500 or the Drake Inn at (218)835-4567.
Last year Leonard also mentioned something about a leech catching contest...?!?
If that trips your trigger - go for it! As for me, I think I’ll pass - sorry Leonard!!

*Please send news (weddings, births, graduations, jobs, illnesses, addresses -
including e-mail, etc.) to MaTina by June 8th. The newsletter and family tree information will be handed out on Saturday.
*We also ask for a $5 donation from each family to cover printing
and postage expenses, as well as costs of paper plates, napkins, cups, silverware, etc. to use each year.

June 2003
Birth:
*Joseph John Pistek, Jr., was born on October 23, 2002, to Joe and Kim (Kisley)
Pistek. He weighed 8 lbs., 12.5 oz., and was 20.5 inches long.
Baptism
/ First Communion:
*Joseph John Pistek, Jr., son of Joe and Kim
(Kisley) Pistek, was baptized on November 9, 2002.
*Lauren Frances
Kisley, daughter of Joe and Lorrinda Kisley, received her first holy communion on April 6, 2003, at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church in Osage, Iowa. She also received her first reconciliation prior to that.
Graduation/School
News:
*Lorrinda Kisley (wife of Joe) graduated from The University
of Northern Iowa, on May 10, 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.
Employment
News:
*Joe and Kim (Kisley) reopened their family business, J &
K Tire, in Albia, Iowa, this past year.
Illnesses:
*Kirk Clark (husband of MaTina) underwent surgery on October 1, 2002. He had a
left radical nefrectomy, which included the removal of his left kidney and adrenal gland. He had a softball-sized cancerous
tumor encapsulated in his kidney.
*Steve Neuroth (husband of Donita)
underwent surgery for prostate cancer in May 2003.
